Revolutionizing the beauty industry
Reflecting the brand’s core values of sustainability, minimalism, and transparency, the goal of this study was to deliver a seamless shopping experience that educates and engages users. In so doing, the study aims towards carefully crafting a modern and clean aesthetic that perfectly represents the NaturCycle brand.
With one of the several primary concerns lying under environmental sustainability, the brand is looking to share their purpose by means of a waste reduction initiative meant to repurpose materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. However, NaturCycle lacked the platform to foster this sense of community, which then raised the question: “How can we implement and integrate the ease of sustainability practices while making the application accessible and appealing to users?”
The proposed solution aims to enhance user experience and align with the brand’s goals by integrating key features, including a Virtual Try-On & Skin Analysis for improved engagement, clear sustainability information to foster interaction, and a waste submission program to encourage user participation. The solution also focuses on designing a modern, responsive app and ensuring accessibility and ease of use throughout the platform for better overall user interaction.
